Black currants are called Solbaer in Norwegian and for some of us are the prized berry of the season. To have this available in the USA brings back the rush of berry picking joy. Only the best homemade Norweigian preserves have this wild wine like flavor!
The taste of 'Black Currants' is particularly dear to my heart as I grew up in Denmark. Once you have tasted Currant C's Black Currants - you can never go back - pure, fresh, and rich. It's simply the best.
I love the delicious juice that reminds me of my childhood in Germany. It goes in sparkling water, sparkling wine, white wine, tea - delicious in all. I take it and bubbly to parties to make cocktails, and it is invariably a hit - beautiful and delicious!
